I had a great experience with Roohi from start to finish. She was professional and easy to communicate with. Her prices were very reasonable and better than some other options I found. She did my wife’s mehndi/henna night for the bridal party/close friends and then her “party henna” package at our Gaye Holud event. She came with photos of different sample designs, but was also able to freehand other requests. My wife’s bridal henna was stunning! She shared with us that this is her passion and has scaled back her hours so she can really enjoy it and focus on each client. She has other artists she works with so if you need more than one she will arrange that. We were very happy with the other artist she brought as well.

Ruhi did an amazing job with my bridal henna! Right from when I booked her, she was very accommodating and flexible. She provided recommendations about when to have the henna done so it would be perfect on the wedding day. When she arrived for my mehendi day, Ruhi was extremely personable, friendly, and patient. She got along so well with my family and friends and stayed late to make sure the 7 other women who were also getting their henna done were happy. Her designs themselves were intricate and perfectly done. She was able to figure out exactly what I wanted based on a few pictures I showed her. I LOVED what she was able to do on the front and back of my hands/arms and on my feet. The henna itself was so high quality and was a beautiful deep red on my wedding day, and it lasted 2-3 weeks on my hands and is still there a little on my feet over a month out! I would highly recommend Ruhi and would definitely book her again.

Quality work and a pleasure to work with!

Roohi was fantastic to work with leading up to my wedding day! Her communication was always prompt and professional, and she was flexible and communicated clearly about scheduling. On the day of my henna, she and her associate did a fabulous job and my henna came out gorgeously. Our guests were so happy to be able to get their henna done too, and her associate was flexible in staying a few more hours than we had initially booked to accommodate extra guests, which I REALLY appreciated! They both were friendly and helpful, and I was so happy with how my bridal henna turned out. The henna Roohi uses also smells AMAZING for 5+ days and she gave me an after-care balm to use to keep the stain fresh for my wedding day. The henna she used stained very well, and much faster than store-bought henna cones I've used in the past. The next day I had a deep red/brown stain that lasted about 4-5 days before starting to fade in patches over a couple weeks (instead of fading uniformly in color after a week, which is what usually happens with other henna I've used. But honestly it didn't really matter since I just wanted a deep stain for my wedding day and that's what I got!) Overall, Roohi was one of the best vendors I worked with for my wedding, both for the ease of coordinating with her and for the beautiful work she did!

Roohi was such a pleasure to work with and did an incredible job! She was so accommodating with timing and travel to our house, and was so patient and kind with all of our family members. Henna application can be a long process (mine took around 3 hours for hands/feet bridal henna), and Roohi did a great job making us all comfortable and making conversation. Her talent is obvious, and she takes such care and pride in her work! Her aftercare instructions and balm made a huge difference in my stain, which many family members said was one of the darkest they'd seen. I've included three photos, two of which are from the day after application (stain isn't fully developed yet, but you can see the detail!), and one from my wedding day to see how beautiful it looked! I received so many compliments from family about how much they loved the detail and design, and how dark it got. I would absolutely recommend Roohi to anyone looking for a talented henna artist in the MA/RI area!

I booked Ruhi for wedding party henna for myself, bridesmaids, moms, and a few friends. She is so talented!She worked with me ahead of time to plan out bridal henna for my hands and feet, and let my bridesmaids bring reference images that she replicated. The designs were all beautiful and she gave us great tips about caring for the henna so it would darken faster. Her henna is all natural and she even gave me a homemade balm for my henna to keep it hydrated so it would look even better in wedding pictures. So glad we booked her and will definitely use her again for future events.
